Hello all,
I have long been on the fence whether to study pre-med or
psychology in college, and I want some direction in finding which is
more right for me. My main interest lies in cognitive science, but
from what I gather, this field encorporates medicine, philosophy,
psychology, comp sci, math, and a bunch of other areas. If there are
any books, articles, or pieces of advice I can read to get a better
idea of what psychology entails, I would really appreciate some
references.
Thanks in advance for your overwhelming support

I would suggest that you go to www.apa.org and browse the information on
divisions. Then browse the rest of the site, I'm sure that APA has some
info for prospective students.

However, why not "slip between the horns of the dilemma"? Study both.
In many schools you can easily have a double major. I had close to a
triple major. There are also "minors". Also many courses could be
included in either area as a major.
